"Angry Tired and Uninspired" Official Short Film | MeghaTRON

Phoebe Porter is a student screenwriter who is preparing for her first big project. She struggles to come up with an idea that not only shares her creative voice but also sets her apart as a unique individual. She looks to her best friend, Ezra, for advice and learns that even in her creative funk, she can still tell a beautiful story as long as she writes from the heart. This project was completed during my film production course at ASU. I had made it a goal to experiment with lighting and expressive imagery on this project which is why it's a little out there. I also had made it a goal to work with what I had since it was my first semester away from home and I didn't have a lot of resources or know a lot of people who could help out. I'm pretty proud of the results and have used a lot of the methods here in some other projects I'm working on that you'll see soon. Also, I'm really proud and excited to say that this short film made it to the official selection list at ASU's Filmmaker Association 16th Annual Film Festival! It was such a welcome surprise and such a fun experience!
